Meals on Wheels Service Event

On March 10th 2020, a group of 15 NHS students worked with the Meals on Wheels organization to create breakfast packages. Meals on Wheels is nation wide program that provides meals to individuals who cannot afford meals. The group that attended this service event took a bus to the Meals on Wheels facilities located in the Interfaith Ministries building in Houston. Upon arrival they split into two groups. One group worked on creating breakfast packages. To make the process quicker and more efficient, they worked in an assembly line which helped speed the process and get those meals packaged! The other group took the finished packaged meals and brought them to a storage area. Everyone had fun working together as a team to get the job done! Every meal is valuable and our NHS group helped tremendously to get meals ready to be delivered. Good job NHS!
